Bon, j’ai bien remarqué que peu de monde a été « receptif » à mes 2 précédents posts ! Je me serais en quelque sorte égaré … Histoire ancienne maintenant ( de toutes façons, il y a un autre blog maintenant pour mes mauvaises « tendances » ). Donc revenons à nos moutons, de la musique de film en veux tu, en voilà ! Bien avant le Solaris avec Clooney et sa BO tout aussi remarquable d’ailleurs de Cliff Martinez, il y avait eu le film d’Andreï Tarkovski en 1972, aux atmosphères très particulières et où le temps semblait se figer. Ce réalisateur soviétique avait pour alter-ego musical Eduard Artemiev, un peu comme l’association Werner Herzog / Popol Vuh …
On aura deviné qu’il n’y a point de grooves ici, pas un soupçon de pop, ni de rythmes. Tout est ambiance et Artemiev joue avec les atmosphères à l’aide de vieux synthés analogiques. On pourrait croire à un improbable croisement de Tangerine Dream et Jean-Sébastien Bach ! Je préviens de suite, c’est pas de la musique joyeuse, mais bon, je vis avec les saisons, et comme c’est l’automne … Source : cd-r.

Happy to hear from you, pardon, to read you again ! I tried too to dload something from rogepost but doesn't work cause "maintenance". I'll try later ... But this is more than before with rogepost. Maybe because there's more people now using it. If, in a near futur, the problem perssist; i'll be upload on 2 different files hoster.

Thank you for this haunting and beautiful score to a transcendent movie. Incidentally, the opening theme is Bach's "Ich Ruf zu Dir," one of the composer's most famous chorale preludes. The great Swiss pianist, Edwin Fischer, has a wonderful recording of the piece on EMI as a piano transcription from the '30s (although he perhaps hits a wrong note here and there). Another more available piano transcription is by Alfred Brendel on Philips. It is also quite nice, though not nearly as sublime as the Fischer. On organ, I'd check out the performance from the complete Bach organ works by Michel Chapuis. Thanks again!
